To provide an exemplary powerlifting experience to individuals by upholding the highest standards of integrity, sportsmanship, and competition.<\/p>\n<p><em>Vision:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>To be the organization of choice for doping-free powerlifting in the province of Saskatchewan, providing opportunities that allow individuals to take part in all levels of competition through fair and ethical sport.<\/p>\n<p><em>Goals:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Increase and retain members of all ages, particularly junior and sub-junior members.<\/li>\n<li>Increase and retain the number of provincial and national qualified referees.<\/li>\n<li>Become more financially sound to allow us to provide more programs and services to our members.<\/li>\n<li>Create more public awareness of what Saskatchewan Powerlifting offers, and the partnerships that are available to communities.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a coaching module to ensure quality coaches are within our province.<\/li>\n<li>Become a recognized sport on a provincial level through Sask Sport.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Strategic Directions:\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Membership:<br \/>\ni. Increase availability of meet director resources<br \/>\niii. Provide meet director eduction\/resources<\/li>\n<li>Promote Coaching and Officiating Excellence<br \/>\ni. Increase and retain provincial referee numbers<br \/>\nii. Increase and retain national referee numbers<br \/>\niii. Retain current referees<br \/>\niv. Provide coach education\/resources<\/li>\n<li>Foster Strong Governance<br \/>\ni. Recruit new board members<br \/>\nii. Maintain financial stability and transparency<br \/>\niii. Renew and continually update Saskatchewan Powerlifting Association governance documents<\/li>\n<li>Create Authentic Partnerships<br \/>\ni. Become a recognized provincial sporting organization with Sask Sport<br \/>\nii. engage with sponsors<br \/>\niii.
